Course Description
Sports taping is the technique of applying tape to the skin directly so as to keep up a steady position of bones and muscles amid athletic movement. It is a methodology that utilizes tape, connected to the skin, to physically keep muscles or bones at a specific position. This helps reduce pain and helps recouperation. Taping is normally used to help with other injuries and overuse. The general objective of sports taping are to limit the movement of a harmed joint.
It is recognised, sports taping is one of the best preventative measure to reduce injuries in high impact sports with other athletes or equipment. Also has proven to reduce the severity of injuries as well as repetitive injuries occuring in a lot of sports.
Ideally a course for those who work with athletes, team sports or clients to help with their prevention and management of injuries.
